Hahah okay so I can’t play this song on an instrument anymore. But! When I was 17 I could sort of stumble through it. There’s definitely a video of me floating around somewhere of me playing it. If I looked up the chords and dusted off my old guitar maybe I could still play it. Probably not though!

I had a vhs recording of this episode of HBO’s One Night Stand when I was 16 and made a bunch of my friends watch it cause I loved it so much. I still love it a lot. Their show is good too but I dunno I just love this a lot! So funny.

Day 24 - A song that you want to play at your funeral

If my life were a movie, this is actually the song that I would want playing in the background whenever I die my painfully exciting and/or boring death. I just felt like it sings about a beautiful person that many people would remember fondly which is all I could ask for. And then the religious connotations at the end kind of link in with my history in that field.
So I figured, that was close enough.
Day 23 - A song that reminds you of someone
Daydream | The Lovin’ Spoonful
I wanted to think of a really good one for this. I was thinking about putting in a song from Sound of the Music which makes me think of my grandparents and one time I watched it with them when I was little. But then I was like eh. Then this song popped into my head. It reminds me of Adam Wall. One time after I went through my sort of “break up”, I was kind of down in the dumps about it and went to hang out with Adam in 22beers because he’s always someone who can lift my spirts. He played a bunch of records while we were hanging out including this one and I just love this song a lot, it was stuck in my head that whole week. So now whenever I hear it I think of him!

Day 22 - A song that you listen to when you’re angry
I really don’t get mad very often and if I do, it’s generally when I am with another person so there’s never really the option to listen to music. So I’m reblogging this song for my Day 22 just because I like it and couldn’t think of a song to post.
I heard this song the night before I turned 17. I wasn’t getting my license the next day though because it was on a Saturday and I had to wait till Monday to go to the DMV. I remember we were at Andrew’s and I was on his computer. B imed him and I was talking to B, pretending I was Andrew. It was okay though cause Andrew knew all about it. Then B sent us this awesome song and all of us fell in love with it right away. Woo!

There are a lot of songs I listen to when I’m happy but I chose this one because it makes me so crazy happy to dance along to with Keith. Like the one time it came on at a party and we ran around to find each other because we both love it so much :D !!
